Extensions and Refurbishment

This project came from a previous customer who we had carried out a loft conversion for some years before. We carried out 4 separate extensions to the is property to gain a large openplan kitchen, a sun room added onto the lounge, a dressing room above the garage, and an annexe within the side extension with wet room and dressing room above to serve the master bedroom.

We also refurbished the whole existing property adding ensuites, removing all existing floors and fitting underfloor heating thorughout, altering the fire place and installing wood burning stove. Not one room was recognisable from the existing, we supplied and fitted all new oak frames, doors, architraves, skirtings and window boards as well as reconfiguring the staircase and supplying a bespoke oak staircase to provide a gallery landing.

We supplied and fitted all new windows, doors and tri folding doors as well as converting the existing double garage into a gym.

Externally we built extra piers around the existing poor brick wall, supplying and fitting bespoke railings between and rendering to give the appearance of a completely new wall. We also supplied and fitted bespoke automated cantilever gate system.

Two Single Storey Extensions

We built two separate extensions to this bungalow to gain the customer a utility room and kitchen diner with vaulted ceiling. Upon commencement of this project we incurred problems with the ground conditions and existing district heating pipes within the new trenches, however we liased with the local authority and came over these issues to provide the customer with exactly what she had requested. We also knocked the separate toilet and bathroom into one and supplied and fitted the kitchen.

Rear Extension and Loft Conversion

We converted the loft on this old terraced property installing a complete new floor supported with steel beams. We also had to supply and fit steel posts and beams to the old roof to provide strengthening for the added weight. The customer gained a bedroom and ensuite within the loft and instructed us to build them a rear extension to provide a bigger kitchen area tying into the neighbours seamlessly.
